Continuous Updates for Public Cloud:

Amity Bots is dedicated to delivering a seamless experience for its users. To achieve this, we regularly roll out updates to our public cloud platform. As a result, customers might notice enhancements in functionalities without prior notification. We aim to ensure that you always have access to the latest and most optimized version of Amity Bots.

Backward Compatibility Assurance:

Our commitment is to ensure that your operations continue without interruptions. Thus, whenever we upgrade existing APIs or functions, we make sure they are backward compatible. This means that the new updates will not result in any breaking changes that could affect your workflows.

Handling of Breaking Changes:

On the rare occasion that a breaking change is necessary, we take the following approach for a smooth transition:

1. New Version Path: The API or function with the breaking change will be introduced on a separate version path, ensuring no disruption to your existing setups.

2. Deprecation Notice: Concurrently, the old version will be marked as deprecated. It's our policy to support deprecated versions for a span of 9 months from the date of deprecation. This provides ample time for users to transition to the newer version at their convenience.

Private Cloud Updates:

For our Private Cloud users, we ensure that you are not left behind. Any updates released on the public cloud will be rolled out to the Private Cloud setups within a month of the public cloud update. Our team will proactively reach out to your designated contact point to inform you about the upcoming upgrades, ensuring you're always in the loop.
